Chimpanzee Trekking Uganda
Go chimpanzee trekking along the ridges and valleys of the Kalinzu Forest Reserve famous for its chimpanzees, olive baboons, black and white Colobus and red-tailed, blue and L'Hoest monkeys. You will be guided on this day trip by local specialists who will find a chimpanzee family for you and help you follow their movements during your stay.A typical itinerary is:
- Arrive at Kalinzu Forest around 7.30am for breakfast or arrive later if required equipped with a packed lunch!
- Begin your chimpanzee trekking following advance guides. There are hundreds of chimps in the reserve
along with so much more to see in this unspoilt wilderness.
- Once located your guides will tell
you all about the chimpanzee family you have found and help you follow them during your trip.
The costs which are subject to change include, transport to
and from the forest, breakfast and accompanying guides. Drinks and snacks not included. Costs around £120 per person.
