In this guide to Western Uganda we normally review a number of accommodation types in each of the major towns you may be visiting and there is certainly a wide variety of accommodation in Entebbe from down market lodgings to up market hotels complete with swimming pools. Most are within easy reach of Entebbe Airport and reflect the budgets of those travelling to Uganda and entering the country through Entebbe Airport. However as Entebbe isn't actually in Western Uganda itself, rather an entry point to that region, we'll simply detail the one hotel accommodation that we recommend (please note we have no financial ties to this accommodation, we just use it ourselves!) Comfort Hotel is located in a quiet location just off the main Entebbe-Kampala road and offers good quality accommodation with very affordable rates.

Rooms come in at between £10-£15 per night including a cooked breakfast and are clean and tidy, complete with that oh so essential powerful room fan, en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold showers and satellite TV. The staff are engaging and interested (in a country where sometimes service is lacking) and nothing is too much trouble ~ which is especially useful when you want to book a taxi to collect you from the airport or maybe take you to Kampala or perhaps further afield to places like Jinja should you wish to see the source of the Nile before travelling down to Western Uganda.
